Just attended a VIP event at the Ritz Carlton, Dallas. The Park West Staff running the event did a great job of providing professional customer service in a personable way. One employee, Anna Scarola was exceptional to us. Her pre-event communication was timely and answered our questions. Her service to us at the event was sacrificial. Purchased two paintings on Princess cruise to Hawaii.. Paintings arrived several weeks after our return as promised.They are beautiful and beautifully framed. However, I asked several times AT PURCHASE. Can I pay 1,000$ a month for a year and have no interest charge? The answer was Yes.. It was not true. Still no art, still no answer to email. Every fraud and scam and ripoff comment you see, in my opinion multiply by 10 to get the truth. Bought art on Holland AMERICA Alaska cruise in early May. 12 week delivery time has long come and gone. Lying about delivery, lying about values, does not answer emails and phone is on 'ignore' for hours. Caveat Emptor, or to put it more coarsely in vernacular. Purchased Daniel Wall art in March 2016 on board a RCI cruise ship. Received 1 piece soon after the cruise. The second framed art work never arrived and was fobbed off with several delivery dates. Eventually asked for my money back and customer services agreed to reimburse me in full. BOUGHT 13 PAINTINGS 4 MONTHS AGO AND STILL WAITING FOR 6. CONTACTED THEM 3 TIMES BY EMAIL AND HAVE NEVER HAD A REPLY. TRY TAKING THE ART OFF THE BOAT WHAT YOU BUY ON THE BOAT YOU DON'T GET AND THEY SEND YOU OTHER VERSIONS OF THE PAINTINGS. Purchased 2 pieces of Autumn Deforest art work aboard a cruise ship on Febuary received one piece in May and was told the second piece had been delayed. In speaking with them today. Purchased several pieces in April 2016 above P&O cruise. Still waiting for the piece that was the most expensive. Twice I've made contact with Park West with no reply! Are these people a scam because that's how I feel about this whole experience. Purchased art February 13, 2016. It's now July 18, 2016 and still waiting for one of the pieces. Was told that they "...are waiting for this work t come in from the artist." It was on board, we bought it, but we have to wait for it to come in from the artist. I purchased three Thimas Kinkades on royal carribean freedom of the seas. What we received were nothing more than posters. Very poor quality. I also went to a true Thimas Kinkade gallery and told they certificate is worthless and they are not true Thomas Kinkades. Never!!! But artwork on a cruise ship. My experience is similar to most of the others. The customer service is lacking in sincerity. The most expensive piece I bought ($4,000.00) finally came 11 months later. Here's the story...1st delivery 3 months after purchase came with a damaged frame. Sent it back on their dime. 1.5 months later it came back and this time the actual painting was damaged. I was reassured that the restoration dept. was top notch. Sent it back on their dime again.... Read more
