Park West Gallery - Awesome experience with Sales Staff juxtaposed with Horrendous post Purchase service
My wife and I were introduced to collecting through Park West on a SE Asia trip and a land event in Sarasota at the Ritz Carlton. The experiences with sales and auction staff were very favorable and enjoyable.
Post purchase we have had not less than 8 pieces that were framed incorrectly. Additionally, we are still waiting on several pieces we collected over 6 months ago. I will say that the responses to many of the delays and re-framing were positive and gracious -- albeit unnecessary if their fulfillment workflows were better managed. Today, I reached out to customer service regarding the re-framing of two additionally incorrectly framed pieces.
The last straw, and I will not be buying from Park West again -- today the service rep, Rachael, informs me that she cannot help me with the account as it is in my wife's name, for security purposes! Tell me how we are protecting my wife's security to have two pieces of art picked up from the address on the account and re-framed and returned to the same address?
We have spent literally tens of thousands of dollars this year alone. I guess I should be happy, I am not free to not spend so much in the future.
