I was cruising on NCL Joy and was offered a FREE Layaway. When it was time to print our paperwork the printer went down! For a month I tried to get paperwork. When I did finally from Park West is was NOT a free layaway but a credit term. I did not agree to a credit terms and conditions. I than cancelled and was told I would get a refund. I am now being told no refund but a credit.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement. Issue has been resolved with the entity.

Park West Gallery misrepresented art to us at an auction on NCL. We purchased two pieces.

We received the first piece and it was a photo in a frame. It was not an original. We sent it back and cancelled our second piece. Joni the rep refunded the lesser piece and denied the larger refund.

Stated no refunds. But one piece was refunded. We are still fighting for our second piece refund. Going to the BBB, Attorney General, and anyone else that will listen to us.

They can't keep our money. This is not a fair practice. Misrepresentation is fraudulent. Joni should look at making people whole and not trying to keep our money.

Again unfair.

Don't buy art on a ship if you do not know about art, as the rep was presenting to us original art pieces which is why the rep was stating we were getting a great deal on two pieces that are valued at over $4,000.00. Wrong!!!

User's recommendation: Be sure of what you are getting. Question the rep. Ask if the piece is original or a photo of the original. Really press them when it comes to Park West Gallery. If you look at complaints against Park West you will see the pattern of how they appraise their art. Again Buyer Beware. Had we read the reviews prior to purchasing we would not be in this position.

Beware. Crediting vs Refunding

Was told I could return for crediting to my account if not happy. I interpret crediting the same a refunding. On ship signing are done in a hurry as they pack in appts. With no time to read the fine print. They do not interpret them the same. So now I have to pay for items I have already returned. Customer Service horrible. Will never purchase from them again and will do my best to make sure people know their policy

Do Not Purchase from Park West Gallery

If youre ever on a cruise or in one of their store locations- do NOT purchase any artwork from Park West Gallery.

We purchased several expensive pieces from them while on our Hawaiian Cruise. One of the pieces arrived damaged, we contacted them, and they shipped us a replacement frame and told us theyd reimburse us up to $100 to have the frames changed out.

We took it to the framing location and the replacement frame also arrived damaged. We contacted them a second time and they sent another replacement frame. The third replacement frame also arrived damaged. They also informed us that they do not reimburse for reframing, so they lied to us in our first correspondence with them.

After writing a negative review, they reached out to us and offered to give us $250 credit to purchase another piece from them.

We declined because were not going to purchase another piece from them when the first piece we purchased arrived damaged and is now going to cost us additional money to get fixed.

They then came back and agreed to refund us $250.

Today they reached out to us demanding that we sign a letter stating that well remove the negative reviews, agree to never say anything disparaging about them in the future, and once we sign the agreement and AFTER we remove the review that theyll request a refund of $250 from the cruise ship. Im not removing any reviews until AFTER were refunded the money to our card or they send us a check and its cashed.

All we wanted was to receive the item that we paid for in the condition it was supposed to arrive to us.

Response to Comment Against Park West Gallery Misrepresentation

To Park West Gallery, I am responding to your reply to this issue. Again we were presented with original pieces during our interaction with the PWG Rep.

Then we received a photo of the first piece, such disappointment. We are not stupid, per Joni's response to us. She is a horrible person and should be removed from customer service as she is not an asset to your organization. Her comment was rude, and again she should tell her reps not to present originals.

You don't need a college degree for that. We are looking for a refund for the second piece that was misrepresented to us, so we can move on. We are not in a position to give away $1700 to PWG.

I will reach out again to PWG per your comment to my original comment on this site and any other site I can find to state our dissatisfaction with our misrepresentation issue. Thank you for reaching out to us.

I have responded per the comment from Park West Gallery and to date have not heard back from anyone. PWG's ship representative misrepresented the art that was presented to us and PWG is at fault and should refund our money as we do not wish to pay for photos. Please respond and assist in this matter.

Order screwed up Fedx never tried to deliver

Everything got all mixed up from starting on the ship to customer service on the phone. I did not find out everything about buying paintings.

My father in law bought 2 paintings for him selfie and one that he had my 12 year old pick what painting to get for my wife and my selfie as a present for our anniversary. That happened on the morning of the last dpresent for our anniversary. That happened on the morning of the last day full day the salesmen was in on the surprise and was supposed to tell us that the Kincaid painting that we wanted was sold so we weren't able to get it so he was supposed to write up another one as per tender and then we also ordered an actual painting that was separate that we were supposed to get FedEx came to deliver the wrong painting so we sent it back the next day. They were supposed to bring the right painting the next day but FedEx never showed up even though they put that we denied the delivery they never showed up the next day I saw online it they put we denied the second delivery they never showed up.

Park West Gallery - Very Unhappy Ex-Customer
Purchased artwork on a lay-a-way program, initial payment was $2240.78. I was initially told I could change this if I needed to, called client service, but it was different story. The next month on the first, my account was debited $1506.15. Went back and forth for over 6 months to get my terms and my payment method changed. I decided to cancel the contract, so you would think the debits would stop. NO. They continued to debit even after the canceled contract. Now Park West Gallery is holding $5253.52 of my funds. This is not a reputable company.

Ordered a piece while on a cruise back in July 2022 and delivery should take 10 - 12 weeks.. Still have not received it and just called their customer service. They stated for me to call back in a few weeks and cannot give me an answer as to why I have not received what I paid for. Horrible customer service.
